New Titilist Pro v1x Left Dash Tour debut

Well, it’s about the time of F’n.

The next generation of title pro v1x left left Golf Ball has finally made his way into the hands of PGA Tour players this week the ProCore Championship.

I mean, only 7 years have passed, bruh.

And while the title is not saying much about it, we can read between the lines in what is coming.

The warm ball that found an audience

Let’s explain what the left is and it is not. Since Titist introduced it as a custom performance option (CPO) again at the beginning of 2018, the left Dash has never been a volume game. Is not trying to be another pro v1x for measures – is a specialized tool for players with very specific needs. From an appropriate point of view, I think it’s a little more nuanced but I need BY Hit the ball really away teeand left the ram shine only it.

Numbers tell the story. According to appropriate title data, DASH left is recommended in approximately 6-8% of ball equipment. We are talking about a ball created for less than one in ten players (and not for nothing, this is what the title has said from day one). The sales numbers are not far from the appropriate numbers, though I wonder how many of them reflect the reality that some players still do not know that there is a left ram.

“Pro V1 and Pro V1X are the most popular balls in the tournament for one reason – they suit most of the players,” says Frederick Waddell, director of the Golf Ball Product Management title. “But there are players with a subset of specialized needs, like high flight and low rotation.”

When good enough is not good enough

According to the title, the company has worked for this replacement for four years.

Four years.

Waddell says they approached to start it several times before they remove what they had and started.

“There were points above that stretch where we really approached the finish line before changing the course,” Waddell admits. “We had prototypes that offered improved performance in some respects, but, according to the leftist Dash players, we eventually left far from the original DASH DNA.”

Translation: They had a very good prototype, perhaps even better in some measurable ways, but it was not what left the dash players expected of the leftist love. So they destroyed it … or at least left it.

Seriously, based on what I heard at the time, two years ago, I would tell you that the new left ram was almost ready. I’m still bitter has not happened, but at least we have 2026 to wait ahead.

Competition moved inside

While the title has worked for their left replacement, competitors have not been sitting at work. Chrome Tour Triple Diamond of Callaway does not exist without left ram. Even the younger players have entered the quarrel, with some DTC offers becoming faster, while also falling long rolls of play.

Meanwhile, Left It has remained unchanged since its tour debut in 2018. This makes it certainly the longest product in the current formation of any main manufacturer-which is either a proof of how good the original design or evidence was that this update was delayed.

Maybe both.

What can we expect

As is customary with these tournaments, the title is not sharing the performance details yet, but some things are quite visible. It will be a four -piece ball with double construction because this is what has been any pro v1x. The compression will be about 100 because the speed remains the Dash thing.

The most interesting question is where the land rotates compared to Pro actual v1x. These things are always relative, and today’s pro v1x revolves less than the pro v1x that existed when it was first developed. So will this new left relationship restore to restore that relationship or to push further into the low rotation territory?

I expect it to be quite different that the loyalists leave the ram will notice. Otherwise, what is the goal?

Ultimately

No retail date has been announced, but making this debut on the tour suggests that the title is convinced that they have finally received it right. Given the typical starting deadlines, you are unlikely to see the new left ram on the shelves somewhere before 2026.

For players who have been waiting for an up -to -date Dash, the wait has been long. But if the title has managed to improve what was already one of the longest balls in the market without losing what made it special, it will have value. Now if only the ball team could persuade Vokey’s boys to make the same commitment to bring back blue wings (best end).

The leftist love has always been a ball for players who know exactly what they need (or want, as appropriate). The new version will probably not change it, and frankly, this is at least part of why the players in Know Love left Dashi.
