San Diego – greetings, friends and welcome to this week’s Rogers report, where I am writing to you from a very rainy and cold Torrey pines. This is my fourth year that follows Genesis Invitational But my first time in Torrey Pines, which I am learning is a lot of a walk, especially in this weather. My manufacturer, Emma Devine and I flew from Boston to San Diego on Monday (a flight I had forgotten is about seven hours) and filmed some episodes of SPOON with players on the field this week.
Thursday was our first free day to really roam the course, which we did despite the rain and wet socks.
Pro Shop
I made my way to the Pro shop here at Torrey Pines on Wednesday, and for once, the thing that gripped me the most was not an excess but really comfortable Pullover. This time, it was a gallery wall immersed in a remote corner of the store, where there was a small piece of photos of Tiger Woods as a new new golf player.
His pictures are amazing. I discovered that Woods was Tiger Merchandise’s genuine sports in the decades before the start of the Red Day Day. I know SDR recreated an old Tiger look in 2024, and I am inviting them to do the same with these Tiger -turned clothing.
So the day of the red sun, if you are reading this: Please bring that yellow blouse again. The internet will explode

What a thoughtful and creative way to honor Cultida Woods. Tiger may not be pulling it this week, but the influence of the Woods family is eventually feeling at Torrey pines this week.
Scheffler in daddy mode
No one can go from shooting 70 in approximate course in the course in daddy mode just like world no. 1. Scottie Scheffler He may not have been with his son shortly after his round on Thursday, but there were a small portion of young children who shouted for Scheffler’s attention, and he restored the order throughout the test before the signature began.
The children calmed down pretty second to realize that this is what it would need to get their favorite player autograph. Call to Scheffler for taking control and scream for those children to dig (objectively miserable) elements in order to get that signature.
My favorite day of the day (in addition to watching the Rory Mcilroy Chip at No.8) came when a young girl got tips from villain. I have no doubt in my mind that the new fan will be the second best there in no time thanks to the workouts he just received from world no. 1.
The fan also got a ball signed by Scheffler, so it is clear who had the best time in Torrey pines today.
