With more than 50 years of refining the Grain Flow forging process in Hiroshima, Japan, Mizuno wedges are unmatched for touch and feel around the green. Properties best demonstrated in Mizuno’s T Series wedges, developed side by side with former world #1 Luke Donald. The latest evolution – the T22 refines Mizuno’s player shape once again and introduces four different heel grinds for different techniques and conditions. One-piece grain flow forged using HD Boron, at Mizuno’s iconic Hiroshima facility where Mizuno irons have been manufactured since 1968, the new T22 wedges feature a copper micro-layer under nickel-chromium giving extra control per split second at impact. with a very steep top edge to make it look slimmer. The spin-weighted blade design, created by reducing the top of the blade, helps create a more consistent spin and a more penetrating trajectory. Mizuno’s HydroFlow Micro Grooves offer excellent wet weather performance as they are laser etched to release moisture and reduce spin drop, while the spin cut sheets are cut into grooves. a more effective lifespan. T22 wedges are available in three finishes; Copper denim, satin chrome and raw. The Raw finish comes without the copper underlay, but will rust over time for a look sought after by many of Mizuno’s tour players. Expanded grind options include: S Grind – with minimal sole grind for fuller shots and lower loft D Grind – with moderate heel and toe relief, allowing smooth manipulation of heavy head and heavier club head players and Grind harder conditionsX Grind – with extreme heel and toe relief for true short game maestros.
