New Callaway, Ping drivers hit the USGA conform list. Here’s what we know

Callaway Elyte

From the conformation list, we can gather that there will be four driver heads in Callaway’s 2025 Elyte line — the spelling likely being a nod to Callaway founder Ely Callaway Jr. – Elyte, Elyte X, Elyte Max Fast and Elyte Triple Diamond. Only Triple Diamond and Max Fast appear as left-hand options at the moment, but that is likely to change.

Interestingly, the company is bringing back a “Core” model without any additions to the Elyte name; every 2024 model had “Max” or “Triple Diamond” added to its designation. In terms of adjustability, every driver has an adjustable hose. The flagship Elyte features a removable rear weight with three settings (pull, neutral, fade), while the Elyte X and Elyte Max Fast only have two ports (equalize and neutral). In previous years, Ping’s “MAX” products have been geared towards accommodating the widest range of players, and in 2024, they offered an additional “MAX” head with the release of the G430 MAX 10K. While it remains to be seen if this year’s MAX product has similar Moment of Inertia characteristics, all three heads have a new “CarbonFly” branding.

All three heads are now listed in the left-hand options and also retain the same adjustment options as their predecessors. Both the MAX and LST heads have an adjustable rear weight that can be set to three settings: pull, neutral and fade. The SFT header contains ports labeled “Draw” and “Draw+” only.

Ping and Callaway’s releases aren’t the only 2025 clubs out there conforming list. In October, Srixon’s ZXi and Cobra’s DS-Adapt lines of drivers both appeared on the list.
