Naomi Osaka is ready for a reset.
Will not include Patrick Mouratoglou.
Former Numera 1 Osaka announced that he split with Mouratoglou, who trained him for nearly 11 months.

“Merci Patrick. It was such an excellent experience learning from you,” posted Osaka on Instagram. “Wishing you nothing but the best. You are one of the most delightful people I’ve ever met and I’m sure I’ll see you around.”
Grand Slam champion Four times Osaka, who split with former coach Wim fissette after 2024 US Open, began working with Mouratoglou in September 2024.
“Yes (he is) (my coach) now. I try not to commit to short -term cooperation,” Osaka said last September. “I try to think it’s a long -term commitment. I like the way he coach. I think it’s going to be very interesting.”
Working with Mouratoglou, Osaka captured her first clay title at the WTA 125 event in Saint Malo in May. She also arrived at the Auckland final in January retired after throwing the opening located in Clara Tauson, 6-4.
Although they clicked personally, the largest professional results left Osaka, who fell into three groups in Paula Badosa in the opening round of Roland Garros. Osaka arrived in Wimbledon’s third round by losing in three groups in Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
Coach Mouratoglou was philosophical for separation.
“Nothing lasts forever. What counts is what a collaboration has brought to each other and what lasts after,” Mouratoglou posted on social media.
The 49th ranking Osak lost to Emma Raducanu, 6-4, 6-2 in the Washington round, DC of the past 16 weeks. Since she won her fourth Grand Slam championship in Australian Open 2021, Osaka has become a mother and spoke publicly about mental health battles. Osaka has played 12 degrees since that victory of 2021 AO and still should not exceed the third round. She reached the third round of Australian Open and Wimbledon this year.
