Naomi Osaka She made the decision to go down to a lower level tour in Saint-Malo, France this week, and she was rewarded with her first trophy raising since 2021.
The 55th Osaka ranking defeated 515-ranked Kaja Juvan of Slovenia 6-1, 6-5 to get the title. She also won victory over Diane Parry, Elsa Jacquemot and Leolia Jeanjean in Saint-Malo.

Victory at the 125K event marks the first pro Osaka title in clay.
Former Bota No.1 did not face a player ranked within 100 first, but will nevertheless gain confidence from her victories.
“Ironically to win my first trophy again on the surface I thought was my worst,” Osaka wrote on social media. “This is one of my favorite things about life, however, there is always room to grow and evolve. Thanks to everyone who accompanies me on this trip, I know it is troubled, but it is also really fun and I am grateful.”

It is planned to play the main draw in Rome, which begins on Tuesday.
