Highlights of India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20I

Bangladesh lost the toss and they were invited to bowl first. The visiting team’s bowlers were unprepared for what was to come as they were completely annihilated by the Indian batting unit.

No Bangladeshi bowlers could trouble Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag as the hosts scored a historic 297 runs.

Samson (111) and Suryakumar (75) did the most destruction with their 173-run stand, while Hardik (47) and Parag (34) did the rest of the damage, adding 70 runs together.

Every Bangladeshi bowler bowled runs with an economy of over 11 runs and Tanzim Hasan Sakib was the best wicket taker as he conceded three wickets.

Towhid Hridoy scored 63 runs and remained unbeaten while Litton Das scored 42 runs. However, apart from the duo, none of the batsmen got ahead and they lost the match by 133 runs.

Chasing a huge target of 222, Bangladesh’s batting line-up faltered under pressure. Parvez Hossain Emon (12 off 16) and Litton Das (14 off 11) started positively but failed to build on the starts they got.

Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (11 off 7) and Towhid Hridoy (2 off 6) failed to make an impact and Bangladesh were in early trouble.
