Golf apparel, and by extension, golf equipment in general, was greatly strengthened in 2024 by the sheer absurdity of brand collaborations. It felt like every other week I was writing about a new Malbon x (insert any brand on the planet here) collaboration.
The year was topped by some great collaborations that I wouldn’t mention as we head into 2025. Here are my 4 favorite collaborations of 2024.
1. adidas x Malbon “Crosby Clambake”
Two powerhouses in the golf apparel space, adidas and Malbon, worked together on a few things this year. None were fresher and more fashionable than him The Crosby Clambake Collection. This is what I find myself returning to again and again. Something about loose clothing and clay models speaks to me on a deeper level.
2. Malbon x UNDEFEATED
This was a no brainer for me. As a self-proclaimed sneakerhead, UNDEFEATED is one of those boutiques that I’ve been a fan of for a long time. Their iconic five-stroke logo looks great on Malbon’s Buckets golf ball character. I’m here for it!
3. TaylorMade x Kith
Yes, you saw this coming. If you know me at all, you know I’m a stickler for what Ronnie Fieg and Kith do. I didn’t think TaylorMade could top their 2022 collaboration with the brand, but boy, did they bring it this year. If I were right-handed, my whole bag would be packed with TaylorMade x Kith clubs.
4. Maxfli x Metalwood
Word is out, Maxfli is cool (we’ve had a lot of work with this one). Their collaboration with street golf brand Metalwood is further proof of that Maxfi is getting the highlights.
