Indian fast bowler Mukesh Kumar recently shared a video via his social media handle that raised a few eyebrows. In the video, Mukesh was seen bowling Virat Kohli on the usual fifth stump line.
This is a video from the match simulation that took place ahead of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy competition. Playing for India A, Mukesh bowled a ball at the fifth stump and the ball bounced slightly higher than expected.
Kohli, as he has done throughout his career, went fishing for the ball and flicked it for a catch. The 36-year-old was dismissed and the ball seemed to bounce higher than expected.

Mukesh Kumar releases video of Virat Kohli’s dismissal

Mukesh returned to India to compete in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a domestic 50-over tournament in India. Yash Dayal and Navdeep Saini are the other two fast bowlers to be released.
Growing problems for Virat Kohli

The 36-year-old delivered the ball from Josh Hazlewood to wicketkeeper Alex Carey, who was again found fishing outside the off-stump.
This method of dismissal has been quite common for Kohli in his career. His weakness was well exploited by the bowlers who constantly troubled him with this line of stumps.
