MotoGP racing among the motorcycles confiscated by the drug-lord?

MotoGP racing bikes appear to be among the 62 motorcycles in Mexico worth $40 million and one of the “10 most wanted Olympic athletes by U.S. officials.” If the bikes shown in the photo released by the agency are MotoGP racing bikes, the $40 million estimate may be low.

The two photos released by the FBI look like Ducati racing bikes ridden by Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso, Andrea Iannone, Jorge Lorenzo and other MotoGP stars. What appears to be the Moto2 bike raced by Marc Marquez can also be seen in one of the photos.

No information has been released by the FBI as to where or how Ryan Sarg obtained the fugitive bikes and transported them to Mexico.

The FBI said these motorcycles were seized from a most wanted fugitive in Mexico. FBI photo.
