LCR Honda’s Johan Zarco set the pace in rain-affected MotoGP practice at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Friday afternoon.
In the morning session, it was Pedro Acosta who topped the timesheets on the KTM, but after 20 minutes of dry track time, the lap times of the afternoon practice session fell dramatically.
It was before the rain came down and the track was again too wet for the slick tires Johann Zarko Who filled the timesheets on the LCR Honda as he put Marc Marquez who found himself second on the timesheets.
MotoGP rookie Torak Razgatlioglu proved himself in Q2 on Saturday as the Turkish rider set a lap time good enough for third place in Friday’s final practice session.
However, Thai Grand Prix winner Marco Bezeci finished the day 20th on the grid and will have to go through Q1 on Saturday.
Marco Bezecchi should go through Q1 on Saturday.
After winning the opening Grand Prix of the 2026 season two weeks ago, Marco Bezecchi must now qualify in Q1 at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

With better weather forecast for Saturday morning, Bezzecchi will have to contend with VR46 riders Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giantantonio, as well as Honda riders Joan Mir and Luca Marini.
Johannes Zarco will lead the timed practice in Brazil.
And see Toprak Razgatlioglu in P3!
