Marc Marquez was fastest in MotoGP World Championship free practice on Friday morning at Motorland Aragon in Spain. Riding Gresini Racing’s Ducati Desmosedici on Michelin Control tires, the six-time MotoGP World Champion won the 3.1-mile course in 1:48.289 to lead the 22-rider field.
George Martin was second in 1:48.772 on the Prima Pramac Racing Ducati.
Rookie Pedro Acosta was third fastest with a 1:48.902 on his Red Bull GAASGAS Tech3 machine.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Brad Binder was fourth in 1:48.952.
Fabio Di Giannantonio completed the top five with a time of 1:48.954.
He covered the top 10 riders in the session by less than a second.
