Gresini Racing’s new MotoGP™ project has finally been unveiled, with Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer shining the spotlight on their approach to this season on the Imola International sector today. A youthful lineup and bright blue, now combined with a new, ‘swinging’ chromed tint, are the main novelties for the new year as Gresini Racing aims to continue its fight at the sharp end of the field.
During the event there was time to remember team founder Fausto and complete two laps of the Imola circuit, but also to enjoy the Gresini Racing History Museum and the film-themed tunnel to remember the team’s recent history. Like this year’s Desmosedici GP24 machines, it was a journey between the past and the near future to introduce the exciting future.
#73 Alex Marquez: “I’m starting the third year in a row with the team, and I believe the summer has been too long. The year has ended on a high note and it’s time to get back into action. The new colors are incredible, and I hope everyone likes them. We would love for these colors to come out with good results and for my part I have done my best this season to prepare myself physically and mentally for 2025.
#54 Fermin Aldeguer: “It’s a first for me on many levels, and my first team as a MotoGP rider. The new Bike Life is very impressive and very aggressive, and I think it perfectly reflects the spirit of this team, which has proven to be a great institution for many years. Interest in going to the track is high, but this revelation is already a big step forward for this 2025 season.
Nadia Padovani, team owner Gresini Racing: “We leave a great 2024, and we welcome 2025 with great enthusiasm, where expectations remain high.” We have a very experienced team, two very talented riders, and we are excited to continue to surprise as we have done so far in 2022… Fermin has yet to come, but he has a place in our hearts, but I believe that Alex can compete in the top five every race weekend. We are extremely excited about this new project and the bike has minimal chrome touches everywhere. We’re ready!”
