Francesco Bagnaia led MotoGP World Championship practice on Friday afternoon in Sepang, Malaysia. Riding his Lenovo Ducati Desmosedici GP24 on special Michelin tires, the two-time and defending champion turned a lap time of 1:57.679. A field of 22 knights.
Championship leader Jorge Martin was the best of the rest with a 1:57.729 on his Prima Pramac Racing Ducati.
Bagnaia’s teammate Innea Bastianini was third in 1:57.877.
Maverick Viñales finished fourth in the Aprilia RS-GP session with a time of 1:58.141.
