In the year 2026 for Aprilia Racing.
Aprilia Racing has officially unveiled the Aprilia RS-GP26 entrusted to Marco Bezecchi and Jorge Martin for the 2026 MotoGP season for the second consecutive year. The proud Italian bike has a strong technological and sporting identity that represents the pinnacle of a continuously evolving project.
A major change to the RS-GP26 livery is the presence of the famous Aprilia racing colors, a symbol from our history – the lion that is part of the DNA of Aprilia racing. In addition to representing the strong connection with the territory, the Venetian symbol Leon Allato, located a few kilometers from the Aprilia Racing headquarters in Noale – embodies the values that fully reflect the identity of the team and its drivers: power, strength, determination and courage. It is the emblem of a team that does not give up, can solve problems stubbornly and is stronger and stronger.
The aim of 2026 is to improve on the results of last season, the most successful for Aprilia Racing, finishing second in the Manufacturers’ Championship with 418 points, breaking the 400 barrier for the first time in its history and third with Marco Besschi with 353 points – the best result in history. Added to this are a number of impressive statistics: 19 podiums in total, 3 race wins and 4 long-distance race wins, 5 pole positions to tie the previous record and the 300th Noel-based manufacturer at the Australian GP. This milestone, which was later increased to 302, confirmed that Aprilia Racing is the winningest European manufacturer in the history of World Motorcycle Grand Prix racing.
Defending the colors from Noale for the manufacturer in the 2026 season will be Marco Bezecchi and George Martin. In the year In 2025, the performance of the Italian rider, who became the best rider in the history of Aprilia racing, was the main character of a very high season in 2025, which placed him third in the standings of the riders’ world championship. Bezeci is approaching 2026 with the goal of reconfirming his position at the top of the division and continuing the promotion that started with the team.
George Martin, who wore No. 89 on the road in the previous show, is preparing to face a new season in 2025 due to injury. For the Spanish rider, 2026 represents the start of a new chapter, which he is experiencing with determination and the desire to express his full potential.
In support of the factory riders, Lorenzo Savadori was confirmed as a tester, after his great contribution to the development and growth of the RS-GP in recent years.
The Aprilia RS-GP26 represents an important evolution for the Aprilia Racing MotoGP project. Every detail has been redesigned to be able to fight at the highest level and strengthen Aprilia’s racing position with the main characters of MotoGP. Each area of the bike has undergone extensive development in all aspects, from the improved aerodynamics to the chassis architecture and to the electronics and V4 engine, which are not limited by championship rules. The technical office at Nole, led by Fabiano Sterlacchini, has created this new challenge, a bike that stays true to its DNA and makes innovation an essential anchor of its vision.
The RS-GP26 will be the latest evolution of the technical cycle that has put the fastest bikes on track in MotoGP history: thanks to the high aerodynamics, high ride height equipment and 1000cc engines that will not be allowed by the technical regulations from 2027. For these reasons, the RS-GP26 will be the fastest speed prototype ever made.
Marco Bezecchi and Jorge Martin will continue to be able to count on a strong and united team with official tester Lorenzo Savadori and the Trackhouse MotoGP team with Raúl Fernández and Ai Ogura. Conceived as a strategic partnership and not as a simple satellite group, the Trackhouse project continues to represent a fundamental resource for RS-GP’s continued development, providing invaluable information and contributing to the innovation process.

Marco Bezzecchi: “I’m glad to finally be back talking about bikes. I’m excited to get started and there’s a lot of work ahead of us, even if we’re not exactly stopping. In Nole, the company is working hard and I am constantly training. I’m so pumped and can’t wait to have fun in the saddle. The end of the 2025 season was extremely positive and that boosted our confidence even more. The goal is to start the season on a high note and continue to do well.He said.

George Martin: “After last year’s experience with Aprilia and the most important tests in Valencia, the goal is now to grow together. I’m sure there’s a lot of work to be done at the start of the season, but we know exactly where we need to improve. This will be the year I want to fight for the top spots and win. As soon as I’m at 100% fitness level, we’ll be ready for anything. He said.

Lorenzo Savadori: “I can’t wait for 2026 to start. The main objective is to improve the bike, to advance the work and the path we started in 2025, to see the Apria consistently at the front. I’ll be riding in a few wild card spots throughout the season, and I’ll be doing my best to develop the RS-GP26. In addition to all this, around April, we will start working and growing in terms of 2027.He said.
Massimo Rivola, CEO Aprilia Racing: “We are heading into the 2026 season knowing full well what we are and where we want to be. We are coming off a strong 2025 which allowed us to reach a very high level of competitiveness and the goal now is to fight in every race. We follow two different paths in the garage. On the one hand, we want to pick up the same level from where we left off with Marco at the end of last season, and on the other hand, we will build a lot with Jorge. We strongly believe in the RS-GP26 and expect it to have great potential as our riders.“
