All official test dates were revealed at the time – with some more set to take place in 2026.
MotoGP pre-season starts soon and the full test schedule for the 2026 season can now be revealed.
After the shakedown test from January 29 to 31, the Sepang test opens official MotoGP action in Malaysia from February 3 to 5. Then we go to Kuala Lumpur on February 7th. Chapter launch.
Then the Chang International Circuit at Burram will host MotoGP for the final two-day test on February 21 and 22 – the weekend before and race for the PT Thai Grand Prix.
Once the season is over, there will be four in-season test dates this year. The first two official tests will follow the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez and the Catalan Grand Prix in Barcelona, and participants will test tires from official MotoGP tire supplier Michelin.
Unofficial post-race tests with the 2027 tire supplier are scheduled for Monday, following the Czech and Austrian Grands Prix.

Moto2
and Moto3
The test calendar for the Moto2 and Moto3 classes has also now been confirmed. The pre-season tests are divided into categories, with Moto3 on February 9 and 10 before Moto2 takes to the track for the first time in Portimão on February 11 and 12.
Cerico de Jerez-Ángel Nieto will host the official Moto2 test on February 14 and 15 and February 16 and 17.
Moto3 will have a season test on Tuesday following the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, and Moto2 will have a season test on Tuesday following the Catalan Grand Prix in Barcelona.
