2025 pre-term exam dates have been announced
Preparations for the new world’s most exciting sport are set to begin in November.
Following the announcement that the 2025 season opener will be the Thailand GP at Buriram, MotoGP™ can now confirm the provisional pre-season test calendar.
As usual, a one-day test for the MotoGP™ class will take place on the Tuesday following the 2024 Valencia Grand Prix at the same venue at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Action will resume in early 2025 with the Shakedown Challenge at the Sepang International Circuit from January 31 to February 2. This is for test drivers, beginners and manufacturers in concession level D, as well as those who can participate with their full-time drivers.
The official Sepang test will be held on February 5, 6 and 7 when the full 2025 grid debuts.
Finally, the paddock will head to the Chang International circuit for the two-day test on February 12 and 13 during the season from February 28 to March 2.

Moto2™ and Moto3™ pre-season testing
The Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes will be held in February 2025. There will be no Valencia test for the middle and light weight classes in November.
