Jorge Navarro was the man to beat in the Moto2 World Qualifier on Saturday in Sepang, Malaysia. The Spanish rider completed qualifying with a new lap record time. Navarro, riding an American Racing Team Calex, led the way around the 3.44-mile (5.54 km) course in 2:04.412, breaking Brad Binder’s 2019 all-time lap record of 2:04.769.
Teammate Marcos Ramirez is second with a time of 2:04.475.
Celestino Vitetti on the former Bull KTM Ajo Calex took the third and final spot with a 2:04.559.
