Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 costs) knocked out former interim heavyweight champion Dillan ‘The Body Snatcher’ Whyte (31-4, 21 COs) on Saturday night in the Anb Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The official time of the slaughter’s stop was at 1:59 of round one.
In the center of the first rounds, Itauma landed a wave of push, which hurt Whyte and drove him in the ropes in a corner before dropping him to the Count of referee Mikael Hook.
In the co-main event, WBA World Featherweight Champion Nick ‘Wrecking’ Ball (23-0-1, 13 CO’s) defeated Sam Goodman (20-1, 8 COs) with a unanimous 12 round decision.
In the first two rounds, Ball put under pressure the Taller Goodman, who held his own in two close rounds. In the fourth and fifth place, ball controlled. In the sixth Goodman, well came back with Ball taking seventh place.
In the ninth round, halfway through, Ball Goodman shook with a right cup to the chin. The action continued for the supporters of the opening round.
In the tenth round, Ball seemed to have a close lead in a back-and-forth battle. In the eleventh round, Ball may have taken it out, but Goodman was there well. In the twelfth and final round, Ball would switch to Southpaw and end up a right -hand cup. Midway Goodman landed on the left on the ball, whose eyebrow was cut. Ball came back well in an everyday round, which apparently retains its title.
The scores were 117-111, 118-110 and 115-113. Mark Caloooy was the referee.
Super Featherweight Southpaw Raymond ‘Savage’ Ford (18-1-1, 8 Kos) beat Abraham ‘Super’ Nova (24-4-1, 17 COs) by a unanimous decision of 10 round.
In the first round, it took a minute before Ford landed a combination to the chin of Nova. In the last 30 seconds, Nova finally landed a combination and went on the attack and supported Ford with a few blows in a corner. Nova did well in the second and third before Ford took over.
In the fifth round, Ford landed a left hand and opened a cut on the right eyebrow of Nova. Later, a cut on Nova’s bridge of the nose. Ford’s hand speed is better. In the final seconds of the sixth round, Ford counteracted with a left on the chin, and shocked Nova.
In the eighth round, Ford, the faster of the two, dominates the first two minutes, while Nova, the heavier puncher, tries to steal the round and take the last minute. In the ninth round, Ford looked good ahead, although Nova had a good round, with the landing of Ford, which backed up most of the round.
In the tenth and last round, Nova mostly threw out perpendicular and worked Ford, which backed up most of the round and felt that he was well in front.
The scores were 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93. Mikael Hook was the referee.
WBO International Heavyweight Champion Philip ‘El Animal’ HRGOVIC (19-1, 14 Kos) defeated former interim WBC world champion David ‘Big D’ Adelye (14-2, 13 food) by a unanimous decision of 10 round. HRGOVIC dropped Aleleye in round eight.
In the second round, Adeleye came out and fired after losing the first round. Midway Adelye landed a hard left hook and opened a cut to the right eyebrow of HRGOVIC. In the third round, Hrgovic came back well and took the round until the final seconds when he was shocked to the chin by a left hook.
In the fourth round, Hrgovic did enough to take the round, but his left eyebrow cut caused his eyelid to close. In the fifth round, Hrgovic dominated until the final seconds when Adelye shuffled him with a counter on the chin.
In the seventh round, Hrgovic Outworks Adelye, which is always dangerous with his counters at the chin. In the eighth round, HRGOVIC dominated and dropped Adelye 45 seconds in the round with an lead on the chin for an 8 scores of referee Mark Caloy Midway.
In the ninth round, Hrgovic continued his winning roads. In the tenth and last round, Hrgovic tried to put Adelye away, but could not find the brand, and take another round.
The scores were 98-91, 99-90 and 99-90.
Super featherweight Hayato Tsutsumi (8-0, 4 COs) stopped Southpaw Qais Ashfaq (13-4-1, 5 COs) at 2:08 of the second round of a scheduled 10 rounds and scored three knockouts.
In the second round, Tsutsumi left Ashfaq backup the entire round before dropping Ashfaq with a right to the temple. Early in the third round, Tsutsumi dropped Ashfaq with a spate of an 8 score of referee Leszek Jankowiak. With a little over a minute left, a left hook at the head of Tsutsumi again dropped Ashfaq for an 8-score Tsutsumi, he managed after forcing the referee to stop.
Super featherweight Miky Mohammed Alakel (5-0, 1 ko) knocked out the Yumnam Santosh Singh (3-7-1, 1 ko) at 2:26 of the first round of a scheduled six rounds.
In the first round, Alelel holds to Singh, who was on the retreat. Alakel did all the landing, and with half a minute left, Albrael landed a right on the side of the head and dropped Singh for the spade of referee Andrei Cheveliov. It was the first time Singh had been stopped.
