Monica seles It is sharing its story for a constant health battle.
The Famier Seles hall found that it was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis neuromuscular disease.

There is no known cure for Myasthenia Gravis. The Mayo Clinic says myasthenia gravis “Makes the muscles under your voluntary control to feel weak and tired quickly. This occurs when communication between the nerves and the muscles breaks down.
“Treatment can help with symptoms. These symptoms can include the weakness of the arm or foot muscle, double vision, sewing eyelids and problems with speech, chewing, swallowing and breathing.”
51-year-old Seles announced her battle with the disease today. Seles is a spokesman for Agenx “A global immunology company committed to improve the lives of people suffering from serious autoimmune diseases.”
Grand Slam nine -time sample is the Ambassador for Agenx’s Gre For Greater Advertising campaign, created to raise awareness and understanding for people diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis.
“My journey to MG over the last 5 years has not been easy,” said Seles. “I felt isolated and defeated as many of the activities I liked were no longer physically possible for me. I have realized that by sharing my story, I can increase awareness of this disease, strengthen patients protect themselves and help them connect with MG for support.

Known as one of the most devastating return in the history of the open era, Seles won 53 career titles, including open US championships in 1991-92. Seles inspired the legions of pro -pro -players, including Venus Williams and Serena Williams. Seles, who played with two hands from both sides, held world ranking number 1 for 178 weeks and completed her excellent career with a 595-122 career record.
