For what season has been already Gael monfils.
In January he won the Auckland title to become the oldest ATP champion in history. Last week in Indian Wells, Monfils reached the third round, becoming the third oldest to reach it at BNP Paribas Open.

This week, Lamonf has a surface in Miami and continued where he left. He defeated Fabian Marozsan on Wednesday, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, to reserve a second round match with Jiri Lehecka.
“I made it difficult (for him),” Montfils said after equating his head to head with Marozsan. “I hit with a little more depth on my shooting and didn’t let him dictate and I think I did well.” So doing monfils becomes the second oldest man to win a match in Miami.
Only Jimmy Connors have won a main Miami Open Crain match at an older age. The American won at the age of 39 at Key Biscayne in 1992.
Monfils, who will turn 39 on September 1, is 12-4 a season. Former world no.6
