The Frenchman seems to be getting better with time, and he continued to ride his momentum on Sunday in Miami while he defeated Dwarf 7-5 5-7 7-6 (1) to become the oldest man who has ever reached the 16th round in Miami.

Monfils, who started his season in Auckland by becoming the oldest player to ever win an ATP title, improves in 14-4 a season. He tried a battle lit with the 27-year-old Munar in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Butch Bucholz court.
Monfils has won three-setters in a row to reach the fourth round, and he has now captured the set third ties. So much to have many miles in those elastic legs.
