Mohamed Salah has admitted he wants to “win it all” with Liverpool this season in what could be the superstar’s final campaign with the Merseyside club.
The Egypt captain is out of contract at Anfield in 2025 and there is a chance the 32-year-old could leave at the end of the season, although Contract talks are ongoing with the winger.
Barcelona is a club that is looking to pounce on the Premier League star’s situation advancing in the transfer market of the summer of 2025, but the transfer is out of the hands of the Catalan club.
Salah has been at Liverpool since 2017 and has had a legendary career with the Premier League giants. The former Roma star has won every trophy possible with the Reds and, on a personal level, has made 366 appearances for the Merseyside outfit, scoring 221 goals and assisting a further 99.
The Egyptian wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without effort and the winger’s elite mentality was on display during a recent interview.
Speaking at the latest installment of the Reds Round Table presented by Standard Chartered at the Liverpool YouTube ChannelSalah admitted he wants to “win everything” this season and hates the “idea that we are underdogs”.
Asked what his ambitions are for the 2024/25 campaign, the 32-year-old said: “To win it all. In my opinion, I work so hard every day that I hate the idea that we are underdogs.
“We have an incredible group… In every position, you will find players who are truly one of the three best in the world.
“So why don’t we win it? This city and this club always have to fight for everything.”
Can Liverpool win it all this season?
Liverpool have made a very impressive start to life under Arne Slot and the early signs are that the Reds can win it all this season. The Merseyside club are top of the Premier League after 11 games and have won all of their UEFA Champions League games.
It will be a very difficult task to win the quadruple as no club has ever achieved the feat, but it is fair to say that the club’s supporters would be happy with another Premier League title.
