MLB Network announces the #1 ranked game of the 2024 season

The Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth World Series title in franchise history after finishing with a 98-64 record and winning the National League West for the third year in a row.

After a great finish to the 2024 season, the Dodgers entered the offseason and added several more key pieces, including starting pitcher Blake Snell, starting pitcher Rocky Sasaki and relief pitcher Tanner Scott.

The Dodgers will look to defend their title in 2025 and win back-to-back World Series titles for the first time in franchise history.

MLB Network has named World Series One as their number one game for the 2024 MLB season.

According to MLB Network’s “X,” Freddie Freeman’s walk-off grand slam in World Series 1 earns honors as the best game of 2024.

If a Grand Slam exit wasn’t enough for a healthy player, Freeman was dealing with an ankle injury that forced him to miss several playoff games.

Freeman overcame the injury and had one of the biggest moments of his career when he beat the New York Yankees in a World Series.

After an incredible performance in the World Series, Freeman won the World Series Most Valuable Player Award.

The Dodgers appear locked and loaded as they head into the 2025 season with perhaps their best roster of all time as they attempt to defend their title.

Although the Dodgers have eight World Series titles in team history, they have never won back-to-back championships, something they will look to change next season.
