Major League Baseball’s postseason frenzy ended with the Los Angeles Dodgers winning the World Series over the New York Yankees.

With the 2024 season officially over, a whole new kind of excitement will begin.

Free agency talks will dominate the offseason, with a large number of big names.

Juan Soto will likely be the biggest name heading into free agency, but there are many more star-caliber players who could potentially switch teams.

According to “X” MLB, MLB.com has ranked the top 10 free agent players this offseason.

Soto leads the list, but ace starters Corbin Burns and Blake Snell are right behind him.

Other notable players on the list include Pete Alonso, Anthony Santander and World Series champion Jack Flaherty.

Teams in need of a top-tier starting pitcher will have several to choose from, as there are four quality pitchers on the roster.

Home run power seems to be another feature of the roster as Soto has 41 home runs, Santander has 44, Alonso has 34 and Willie Adames has 32 home runs.

Fans will have some excitement as they await the start of the 2025 season and the opportunity for one of these star players to join their favorite team.

Soto will likely sign his biggest contract this offseason, and it will be interesting to see if he stays with the Yankees or decides to take his talents elsewhere next season.

The season is now over, but the excitement for the 2025 season is already starting.
