Arsenal Mikel Merino striker He explained how he is doing his best to adapt to playing in front of artillers during his injury crisis.
The International Spain marked Arsenal last night when they won the PSV 7-1 in the Champions League, while he also recently left the bench to clean a 2-0 Premier League victory at Leicester City.
Yet so, Merino admits that this is a little new for himAnd he feels “a little crazy” to be playing in front of the great champions league games when he probably did not play as a striker since he was a kid at school.
Merino made it clear, however, that he is doing his best to talk to coaches and the analytical team to find out how the best impact is on his new role.
So far, it seems that it does not work too bad, with Merino doing admirable work in difficult circumstances.

“It’s a bit crazy to be honest, but at the same time it is about having the right mentality,” Merino said in the mixed area after the game.
“If the coach asks you to play a position, OK, you have to take all your features and put it on the table for the team.
“I try to adapt -me, I am trying to do things the best possible way. Obviously, some days will be better, some days will be worse.
“I try to improve every day in my new position and trying to help the team so when good things happen, I’m proud of it.”
He added: “I have also been talking to the analysts, the head … I am proud to try to understand what is happening on the pitch.”
