In a friendly fire collision, Alex Michelsen Played pure tennis with first strike to get good friend Tien DOWN
Michelsen broke Tien in his opening service of both groups that light a 6-3, 6-3 cleansing in a match of talented Californians in Toronto today.

20-year-old Michelsen, who overthrew Lorenzo Musetti 10th Rang in the previous round, progressed in his 15th career quarterfinals and Masters First 1000.
It is a Milsevo moment for Michelsen, which led to starting to end. Michelsen is the youngest US quarter-finalist ATP Masters 1000 since a 20-year-old Sebastian Korda made the last eight in 2021 Miami. He is the youngest American man to reach the opening of the open national bank since a 20-year-old Andy Roddick received the title 22 years ago.
Aggressive initial games from Michelsen combined with some steep slopes without characteristic Tien was the difference today. Michelsen converted four out of 10 resting points in an 80 -minute win for his sixth quarterfinal of the 2025 season.
Michelsen 34th Rangut will face Karen Khachanov for a place in Final Four.
