Erin, Wis. – Hello, friends, and welcome to this Rogers report publication. Has been a perfect weekend in US Women Openand on Saturday evening we arrived Listen from Amari Avery After her story to play with other companions of competition Gabi Ruffels, they went viral.
While Avery may not have played on Saturday as she did on Friday, at least she returned her clubs. (And she is still with her boyfriend after this mistake, so everything looks good.) With all seriousness, Avery treated the whole situation as a champion, and I’m now a fan of life. Also, shout Gabi Ruffels to be a selfless competitor and friend.
But however, for this Rogers report, I decided to do some research (read: online drowsiness) for all women in the first five US Women Open before the last round. Why? To transmit my findings with all of you, my faithful rogers report readers, so you can learn more about them. I will accept (disappointed) even though all these gals have pure account on Instagram Crystal filled with nothing but golf. It was also humble to learn that the average age here is 23.6, making me feel not only inferior in talent but also old. Ok, enough for me. In the good things.
Tight peak
Twenty-five-year-old Maja Stark holds the 54-year lead in Erin Hills in seven under the money. Pro Swedes has six European tourist victories and won its only LPGA Tour victory in 2022 ISPS Handa World Invitational. She is no stranger to us open women: Stark played in two of them as amateur and ended up in the top 20 places both. As a professional, she ended up tied to her ninth in 2023 of open women in Pebble Beach. Stark also had an extremely impressive collegial career in Oklahoma State. She won three tournaments in her two years there and holds records of programs in Bird (139) and rounds under par (22).
Ok, so Stark is definitely really good at Golf. You know what else is really good? Fraud of a mini ball football. Check this.
Not that she needs a reserve plan, but it seems she could definitely keep her football, or at least impress a bunch of people with her deceptions.
Julia Lopez Ramirez
The other we have Julia Lopez Ramirezwho is just a back blow going to the last round of women of the US Open. The 22-year-old Spanish reached number 1 in the world’s amateur rankings last July and won her LPGA Tour card in December with a T10 finish at the LPGA qualifying tournament. Ramirez won eight individual titles during her time in Mississippi State and had an extremely impressive small spring last year, where she was the Golfer Sec of the Year, the individual Champion and the first All-Sec team. She made her mark on the school program as well: Ramirez has the average of the lowest season (70.10), most rounds in the 60s in a season (14) and ranks first in rounds of all time in the 1960s (37).
Ramirez has also been riding dirty bicycles since she was 3 years old and lending her to part of her strength. She is also talking to other Spaniards Carlota Ciganda and Azahara Munoz, who says they have been as a tournament for her this year while sailing life on the street. If she wins on Sunday, she will be in her debut at the event exactly 200 days after returning the pros.
Rio TAKEDA
Twenty -two -year -old Rio Takeda has eight wins in the LPGA tour of Japan. She ended up ninth at Open Women Open last year, and golf is in her blood. Her mother, Satoko Hiras, played professionally, and her aunt, Mayum Hirase, is an 18-time LPGA and the winner of Japan.
Hinako shimano
After finishing second in the US Open Grain last year, Hinako Shibuno is claiming again this week. The 26-year-old returned in favor in 2018 and her only LPGA victory came to British Open of Women Aig 2019, which was also her first Lpga Tour event AND Its tournament ever seen outside Japan. Quite impressive things.
Shibuno is a child of athletes: her father was a discussion thrower and her mother was a jamper. Her nickname is “Smiling Cinderella”, which she won at Open Women 2019 because she was beating while she went up and down the fairways at the Woburn Golf Club. After winning $ 675,000 for her big victory, she laughed and said she would buy “enough treatments to feed me until I died.”
Mao saigo
And lastly, but of course not least, we have 23-year-old Mao Saigo, who became the fifth Japanese player who won a major five weeks ago at the Chevron Championship. She has six Japan’s LPGA wins and won Chevron after surviving a five -direction Play off. She also manifested that she would be in quarrel in Open Women’s Open when she spoke about her goals in Chevron.
