At the beginning of this month, 2025 European Cup captain Ryder Luke Donald completed his team with 12 men with the captain’s six elections: Shane Lowry, Jon Rahm, Sepp Straka, Victor Hovland, Ludwig Aberg and Matt Fitzpatrick. These elections joined Donald’s automatic qualifiers, who had closed at their points a few weeks ago: Rory McilroyRobert Macintyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Rasmus Hoygaard and Tyrrell Hatton.
Donald who is serving for the second time after also capturing the victorious European team 2023 (which defeated the US with the command margin of 16.5-11.5 in Rome)-was expected to campaign a nearly copied team this year, and he did. 2025 European Ryder Cup team
Rory Mcilroy
World No.2 played his first Ryder Cup at the age of 21 in 2010 and has not lost one since. Mcilroy is playing in his eighth career Ryder Cup in betaris And it was part of the five winning teams. He posted 18 total points for Europe with a 16-13-4 general record, making it the 8th best in Europe in terms of points. (Sergio Garcia tops the list of 28.5 points.) Mcilroy’s latest win in Irish Open scored the 20th of his career at DP World Tour.
Robert Macintre
Macintyre ranks 9th in the world and has three PD victories in the World Tour’s career and two PGA Tour wins in his resume. This is his second Ryder cup after going 2-0-1 to Rome.

Tommy Fleetwood

Justin Rose
Rose, at 45, is the oldest member of the European team. He is playing his seventh Ryder career cup and has a 14-9-3 general record for Europe.
Rasmus Hojgaard
After his twin brother Nicolai played for Europe in 2023, Rasmus is making his debut Ryder Cup. The 24-year-old has five PD World Tour wins since 2019.

Hatton is making his fourth appearance of his career Ryder Cup. The 33-year-old has a 5-4-2 career record.
Shane Lowry
The 2019 Open Champion has a 2-3-1 record in two previous appearances Ryder Cup.

Rahm, a large champion twice, has a 6-3-3 record in three previous appearances Ryder Cup, highlighted by a 3-1-1 show on Whistling Straits in 2021.
