Daniil Medvedev has fallen down while aiming to grow.
Playing an ATP-250 event for the first time since 2023, Medvedev defeated the French qualification Pierre-Hugues Herbert 6-2, 6-4 to advance in the quarter-finals of Marseille for the fourth time.

Medvedev with the highest seed has been playing for his first title since he won the 2023 Rome.
The 2021 Marseille champion is also making offers to win the same tournament twice. All 20 Medvedev titles have come on 20 different tournaments.
