Flushing Meadows, NY-Daniil Medvedev has been fined for $ 42,500 for his behavior during his first round loss to Benjamin Bonzi in US Open.
Medvedev received a fine of $ 30,000 for non -core behavior and a $ 12,500 fine for record abuse, according to the rules of Grand Slam.
He received a total of $ 110,000 ahead of prices, so he still returned a profit at this year’s US Open, though smaller than he would like.
Medvedev’s first round meeting with Bonzi spiped in chaos when a photographer inadvertently went to court during the match point in the third set. Chairman Greg Allansworth stopped the game and gave Benjamin Bonzi another first service-predicting a frenzied six-minute delay.
