19-year-old Victoria Mboko makes her Top 20 debut on Monday, as the Canadian climbs to No. 18 after her second career title. Mboko, who also won her first WTA 1000 title in Montreal this summer, triumphed in Hong Kong this weekend, defeating Cristina Bucsa in the final.

Amazing, considering the Montreal native was barely inside the Top 350 until January. She jumps three spots from No. 21 this week.
Mboko made her Grand Slam debut in May at Roland-Garros and reached the third round. She struggled after winning the title in Montreal but has bounced back in Asia, winning seven of her last eight matches during appearances in Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Eala and Tjen on the rise
Mboko is the second highest ranked teenager on the WTA Tour, behind only Mirra Andreeva. There are currently six teenagers in the WTA Top 100.
In other news, Alexandre Eala moves up one spot to become the first woman from the Philippines to ever hold a Top 50 ranking, at #50.
The second biggest riser in the Top 100 is Indonesia’s Janice Tjen, who parlayed her Chennai title into a career-high ranking of 53rd. Tjen, with 29 points, is the second highest ranked player in Indonesian history.
Bucsa, the Hong Kong runner-up, jumps 14 places to 54th, a career high.
Anna Blinkova, who won the Jianxi title, climbs 32 places to No. 63 – the biggest jump in the Top 100.
