One of the World Series between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers will be played on Friday.
It took the Dodgers six games to defeat the New York Mets in the National League Championship, while the Yankees needed just five games to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the American League Championship Series.
The star power of this World Series matchup is undeniable, and Dodgers slugger Max Muncy seems to feel the same way.
“As a baseball fan, this is going to be really cool,” Muncie said.

Muncy doesn’t get as much attention as Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman on the Dodgers, but he had a quietly exceptional series against the Rangers.
He had five hits in 15 at-bats with two home runs, four runs scored, five runs scored, two stolen bases, a whopping 11 walks, and he only struck out four times.
Muncy could be a key player in this series if the Yankees decide to play around the big guns of Ohtani, Betts and Freeman.
There’s a good chance Muncy will have some key at-bats with runners on base that could change the trajectory of the series.
The Dodgers are making their first World Series appearance since claiming the title in the Covid-shortened 2020 season.
Muncy notes the star power that will be on the field between two iconic Major League Baseball teams in this series.
The Dodgers will look to start the series strong as they hold home field advantage after finishing with the best record in all of baseball.
