For a PGA Tour star, SH.BA Final Qualification She won her title as “Longest Golf Day” on the difficult road.
Max Homa, the six -time PGA Tour’s winner, held his two -round bag in Kinsale Golf Club in Ohio on Monday afternoon after a surprise split by Caddy Bill Arcke over the weekend.
News of arc sharing were first reported by Associate pressDoug Fergusonwho was in hand in the Chinese qualifier, which is every year a hotbed for fresh PGA Tour on the memorial tournament.
“I’m so much more talking about golf instead of all the questions about Kadin,” Homa Ferguson told Monday. “I’m good. Just grabbed him 36.”
Although Homa chose not to talk about the situation, Apea quoted A source that said arc “lost his job”. Homa, 34, and arcs were paired together for less than two months – a stretch that presented some positive signs for Homa’s game after five directly lost cuts to start the season.
Without a caddy, Homa walked with his clubs on his back. He played well in the qualifying, shooting five under his two rounds-a three-putt principle in the 36th hole threw it out of the US open field into a five-way Play for the last place in Oakmont. He lost the play off to Cameron Young, then lost the follower Play off for the two alternative points to Chase Johnson and Eric Cole, pushing his Monday in 38 holes played.

It has been that kind of year for Homa, who has changed his coach, swinging, caddy and gear from a better solo in the best career in 2024 masters. Changes have given some moments of greatness – including a Masters T12 and a Friday 64 in PGA to briefly grow in quarrel – but also many moments of heart attack.
“It seems to be better than when someone is standing by me for some reason,” Homa told the Ap “I may have to walk more myself. Maybe I just looked at him as a nice, peaceful walk. Maybe I have to fight some demons and I have no one to back up. Maybe it helps a little. There is no one … Everything is me. The battle helped him a little.”
Homa found bow only a few days before the masters, after a shocking separation from the long caddy (and the best friend) Joe Greiner. At the PGA Championship, Homa hinted that the decision to share was Greiner.
“I always thought I would finish my career when I am 60 and Joe’s 65, somehow is still tightening,” Homa said. “Hopefully he would go on the furry path and caddy forever. So I’ve never thought about (sharing).”
However, Homa expressed optimism for His new partner and his understanding of “golf psychology”. Arch came to Homa with a recommendation from Caddy Legend Bone mackaywho called the arch “underrated”.
“Bill has been great,” Homa said in PGA. “Really really difficult to change the cadites. I was talking to my wife about that last night. You’re like a full relationship day. You’re there with her, the first day is probably eight hours. It’s not exactly a normal first date.”
But not all relationships work. Homa and arckes will lead their separate ways as the sport reaches the back of the big season of the 2025 championship. Homa will hope to find some of the sparks who have highlighted his last three years in PGA Tour – a mandate that represents a small part of the wins and a pair of predominant shows in the US Cup team.
He will have the opportunity to start quickly on the return path – he is on the field for the RBC Canadian Open this week, which will start from TPC Toronto on Thursday morning.
