Augusta, ga. – Monday of the 89th edition of Master The week left for a wet start in Northeast Georgia.
With ribbons at night moistening Augusta National, The club sent a notice Sunday evening informing clients that they would not be allowed until at least 8am after the 30-minute delay, defender Gates really opened at 8.
But with the rain that continues to fall into the Augusta area all morning, the club suspended the practice rounds at 11:25 am and evacuated patrons from the bases.
Shortly before 3pm, the club sent another notice saying the game would be suspended for the day and that clients would not be allowed to return to the premises.
Due to the immature weather and current forecast, the Augusta National Club will not reopen our clients on Monday.
Monday’s round ticket buyers will be sent to May refunds in May and you will be guaranteed the opportunity to buy 2026 Monday practice round tickets.

The decision to suspend the game for the day is a visible bumper for those with the Monday Practice Round Tickets. But they will take another chance to see Augusta National.
According to the club, Monday buyers practice round tickets will be sent to the next month. Moreover, ticket defenders for Monday will be guaranteed the opportunity to buy Round Tickets on Monday in 2026.
“We are disappointed our patrons cannot enjoy the round of today’s practice, but everyone’s security in Augusta National is our highest advantage and was the determining factor of the decision to cancel,” said Augusta’s national chairman Fred Ridley. “We look forward to welcoming the defenders of our Monday patrons next year, as well as celebrating a wonderful 89th tour of the masters in front of us this week.”
