Marcus Rashford has dismissed “ridiculous” reports speculating about his future at Manchester United.
Having been dropped from four of Ruben Amorim’s matchday squads throughout December, a period in which he also he admitted his desire for a new challenge – Rashford is believed to be available for transfer in January.
Reports in England claimed Rashford had sought the help of a new agency to try and force his way through a United exit, but the 27-year-old wasted little time in quashing that rumor on social media.
“There have been a lot of fake stories written over the past few weeks, but guys, this is getting ridiculous,” he posted alongside a screenshot of the aforementioned story.
“I have never met with an agency and have no plans to.”
However, Rashford is still available if any suitors want to come forward and meet unitedThe asking price, which is believed to be around £40m.
Selling Rashford would be beneficial for United this month after Amorim confessed to the Red Devils’ desire first they have to sell players if they want to raise money for new signings, with the striker out of options who could command a significant transfer fee.
