Marquez has had one of the most successful seasons in MotoGP since joining Ducati in 2025. The Spaniard has won 18 of the 22 rounds he has competed in, 11 Grand Prix and 14 Sprint Races. He also won the 2025 title in five rounds.
But Marquez will not challenge his 2019 record of 12 Grand Prix wins in a single season due to a shoulder injury. It is Marquez’s first major injury since his grueling test at the 2020 Spanish GP in Jerez.
