Marc Leishman Stuns packaged Boadboard to win Liv Golf Miami

This took Leishman on six under the tour, where he ended up after six pars to close for a 68 and his first Liv Golf title.

“It was an incredible leader. I saw all the boys right after me and I knew the holes I had to end. He played probably some of my best golf I ever played today,” Leishman said. “To win here, you are playing against high fields every week, so yes, still just letting them be dipped.”

Victory is Leishman’s first victory from the last of his six PGA Tour titles in 2021. He also caught him by surprise after his last start in Liv Singapore saw him finish T51.

“Leaving Singapore a few weeks ago, where I think I could three people, the faith was not too high,” Leishman said. “But I knew things were looking very well. I was playing good golf and I showed that today.”

Dechambeau started the day with a two-stroke lead, but soon fell again with a noise in par-5 1 and a pair when his shot found the water in par-3 4. Mickelson went into conversation with a bird at no. 1 but lost steam after it Ball started the flag stick and in the water at no. 7.

Rahm seemed destined to go to the masters week in a top three birds in the first eight holes, but two nine Bogeyys and a Bogey-8 quadrilateral in the 17th left it with a disappointing T9.

Garcia and Charl Schwartzel were really the only two players who mounted an accusation during the last nine holes, with Schwartzel shooting a 66, bound for the week of the week, to finish the second solo, while Garcia needed a bird to connect to the 18th hole, but left with a Bogey.
