Former Manchester United player Ricardo has revealed that the club should try to sign young elite talents such as Lamine Yamal.
Manchester United has had a disastrous season and are 16 at the league table. They lost the UEFA Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur last night. They will not compete in European football next season, and the league campaign is already one of the worst in its history.
They will need quality signings to bounce next season and Ricardo believes that players like Yamal could make a big difference.
Liverpool and Manchester City have been related to Yamal in recent weeks.
Said Ricardo to As: “It is a difficult thing, but I would sign Lamine Yamal (laughs). The players like that. But not only for the goals it sets, but for the way to manage the game, what the team needs at all times. To do it at their age it is difficult to believe. You have to see -to believe it.”
In Yamal winning the Golden Ballon in the future, he added: “Well … it is a possibility, and very tangible. He is a very smart player, with very refined technique, physical, speed and manipulation of balls that are extraordinary. Then, as he reads the game and he positions himself tactically … he does everything perfectly.”
Lamine Yamal has been world class
The 17 -year -old has been a world class performer for Barcelona with 18 goals this season. He has also collected 25 assists along the way. There is no doubt that it has all the credentials to become a superstar, but signing it would be an almost impossible task for any club.

Yamal could transform Man United
