Manchester United manager upcoming: New favorite emerges, two former Red Devils stars in mix


Erik ten Hag is surely running out of time as Manchester United manager, and now it looks like it Ruben Amorim is the growing favourite for work

The Sporting Lisbon coach was heavily linked with big jobs in the summer, such as Liverpool, Chelsea and West Ham at various times, although he ended up staying in Portugal at the time.

This has also been discussed Manchester City could make Amorim their top candidate replace Pep Guardiola if he leaves in the near future, especially as Sporting’s technical director Hugo Viana heads to the Etihad Stadium to replace Txiki Begiristain from next season.

It remains to be seen whether Ten Hag’s future could mean Man United swoop for Amorim, and he has now reached pole position for the job, according to the betting odds.

The 39-year-old will surely receive other big offers if MUFC don’t make a move for him, so they may want to be quick, or else they could find themselves in the situation of missing out on one of their top targets again. with Thomas Tuchel another recent slip-up as he became England manager instead.
