Real Betis has opened conversations with Manchester United for another Loan for Winger Antony, a report has revealed.
Antony joined Betis in January and lost little time, he attracted attention to Spain, scoring four goals and four assists on 11 outings for their new side, which do not have the option to buy it permanently.
As it is, it will return to United This summer but ABC Betis state is exploring a way to keep Antony beyond this season.
It is said that Betis first approached United for an 18 -month loans agreement for Antony, but after financial problems threatened to see the collapse of movement, he finally agreed a six -month contract to sign the Brazilian temporarily.
Now, with Both Betis and Antony loved how things goFormal talks on the extension of the Antony loan for the season 2025/26 will be held in the coming weeks.
The new agreement with United could include a potential option for permanent movement, but may also require Antony to sign a new contract with United First. The current agreement of the wing expires in 2027 and the United would probably resist accepting a loan that could return it again with only 12 months remaining from his contract.
Much could face Betis’s prospects for playing European football. United wants to find a real buyer who can pay a significant rate for the age of 25: the Red Devils acknowledge that they will make a huge loss in the 81.3 million pounds paid to sign it, and therefore, the potential buyers will need the income they have at least in the Europa League.
As it is, Betis is sixth in the league, very well to qualify for the European competition.
