The United has reached new post-2013 lows this season, and has passed to the 13th at the Premier League table. Ruben Amorim has replaced Erik Ten as the main coach, but the Portuguese insistence on implementing his own system amid the lack of players that adapts to him has delayed any increase in fortunes.

Traveling a complete wishes list, the retired star said: “I think a new goalkeeper is needed, possibly two central parts, two central part players and two central centers.”
Scholes suggested that a central midfielder and an imposing center, implying that he is not convinced by Rasmus Hojlund or Joshua Zirkzee, are the two most important areas to address.
“When you have this spine, you can add pieces,” he said. “This spine, this nucleus, is so important. If they do not do it well this summer, this may seem ridiculous, but the way this manager is found, they could look at relegation. I tell you, it has been so bad. “”
