Manchester United has confirmed its plans to build a new 100,000 capacity stadium near its current Old Trafford house.
Foster architects and partners indicate that the new stadium and the surrounding complex will have an umbrella design and a new public square that is “twice the size of Trafalgar Square”, according to the growth agenda and the regeneration of the Government for the local area.
