Man United striker Joshua Zirkzee has been contacted by Juventus

Manchester United’s squad is set to undergo some changes in the January transfer window.

After their struggles this season, the Red Devils are set to make some changes this month in a bid to turn around their disappointing season.

They currently sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table after playing 19 games this season and their goal difference right now is minus five.

Under manager Ruben Amorim, the Premier League giants are expected to make some new signings and allow some of their under-performing players to leave the club.

According to the journalist Gianluca Di MarzioJuventus have opened talks with Man United striker Joshua Zirkzee over a move this month.

The Dutchman has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford this season following his promising move in the summer transfer window last year.

The ex-Bologna man has only managed three goals in the Premier League this season and Amorim realizes that a new striker is needed at the club.

The Portuguese coach has decided on Zirkzee and is willing to allow the player to leave the club this month.

His recent outing against Newcastle United, in which he was withdrawn after just 33 minutes of play, shows how difficult he has been to settle in the Premier League this season.

Sky Sports reporter Di Marizo has claimed that Juventus have opened talks with the 23-year-old attacker’s representatives over a loan move during the January transfer window.

At the moment, Man United are reluctant to allow the player to leave on loan, but they would be willing to let him go if the signing club, Juventus in this case, add a mandatory buyout clause to the deal.

Financially-strapped Juventus are only looking for a loan deal for now as they look to reunite the attacker with manager Thiago Motta, who managed to get the best out of the Netherlands international in Bologna last season.

Along with Zirkzee, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof could leave the club this month, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
