The second of four games between Chelsea and Manchester City in the 12 -day space takes place on Wednesday night when the couple confronts the first part of the Female Champions League quarterfinals.
Chelsea They have not been timing to dominating this season, with the new director Sonia Bompastor supervising a perfect transition to a new era after the departure of Emma Hayes last year. The Blues remain uninvocal in all competitions and their hopes of claiming a historical quadruple remain intact after defeating the city in the final of the Women’s League Cup on Saturday.
The Sky Blues separated with Gareth Taylor a few days before the final, with the former director Nick Cushing who returned to a provisional manner. Cushing’s side produced an impressive performance in the defeat in Pride Park, and while they have fought in the women’s Super League this season, sitting 12 points behind Chelsea at the summit, there is hope that these two legs may be surprised.
The Blues advanced to the quarterfinals of the UWCL after winning the six group games, while City Beat the Barcelona empire to group D, but ended up as a runner -up.

Man City is back without a couple of family names at Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp. The two lions are treating the knee injuries.
Rebecca Knaak, who joined the club in January, is breastfeeding a string problem and loses.
Bunny Shaw also deals with a string injury that he suffered in the final of Saturday and is a doubt for the first leg. If the prolific striker is there, Vivianne Miedema will move to Cushing’s attack with Jess Park joining Jill Roord and Yui Hasegawa in the middle of the field.
Man City predicted the line against Chelsea (4-3-3): Yamashita; Casparij, Prior, Aleixandri, Ouahabi; Park, Hasegawa, Rord; Fujino, Fowler, Mieedema.
Chelsea’s performance in the League Cup final should convince Bompastor to make changes to his initial 11th, but the Manager blues does not yet have a long list of players.
Naomi Girma, Sophie Ingle, Maelys Mpome, Kadeisha Buchanan, Sam Kerr, Zecira Musovic and Femke Liefting are all visitors.
The lioness Niamh Charles could start on the left, while Aggie Bever-Jones presses to start. Mayra Ramirez, who has scored a couple of UWCL goals, this term, should continue on the front line of Bomastor after opening the score for the weekend.
Chelsea predicted the line against Man City (4-2-3-1): Hampton; Bronze, bjorn, bright, Charles; Cuthbert, Nusken; Rytting Kaneryd, Macario, James; Ramirez.
The signs were positive for the city of Cushing on Saturday, but Chelsea’s ruthless Streak went out, as they claimed the first piece offered this season.
The Bompastor Blues are proven to be an urgent force, and the victories like the ones they did at the weekend will strengthen the belief that they are unbeatable. This is the only important trophy that the London club has not been in the hands and the new manager has a serious pedigree on the European stage.
An improved city is required to make visitors work, but Chelsea will not rest on their laurels after Saturday’s victory. They will be determined to claim a great victory away from home, but to secure their place in the last four.
