Golf things I like
Eyes to the price.
Here are some things that have happened in or circle the 18th green At the last hour of the game Sunday in Chevron, the first of the main women of the year:
–Ariya Jutanugarn, Needing Birdie to win and before to win probably, shaking a chip from the back of 18th green and was wounded doing Bogey.
–Haeran Ryu It took a few minutes to play from the street, got an extra club, it didn’t become one in the ancestor, it took a few more minutes to understand a drop – and then entered Eagle.
-Ses provers pro erected up and down from the circle and made Birdie bind the superiority.
-Five women ended up in the 7th, placing a mega-playoff.
–Ronni Yin Hit a sensational road approach to the Play off, setting a good look at the Eagle-and then with three putted.
-Jutanugarn lost a short blow to the birds when it passed around the hole and out.
The last woman standing was of Japan Mao saigoThe 23-year-old growing star from Japan, who made Birdie enter the play off, was the only player to make Birdie on Play off and left a winner.
This is when things passed from strange to scary. Saigo got the traditional winner dance in the Poppie Basin – but was soon catching over her boiler, Jeffrey Snow, for help.
“I’m not really a good swimmer. When I got inside, it was deep and at first I thought I was going to drown,” she said at the press conference of its winner. Yikes!
Beth Ann Nichols tracked the detailsstrengthening that a good caddy is there for their player when they need him; Snow loans to go 19 holes on Sunday and attract its most important holding after round. Let’s just say that we are impressed with the two poultry of the Saigo herd and not stop much in what it would have been. A warm robe, some drama and a feeling of relief – this is golf items I like.
Winner
Who won the week?
“That’s like to dream,” Mao saigo said after her victory in Chevron. But that doesn’t mean she is ready to wake up. “I still have four more degrees to go (this year), and I want to shoot for No.1 in the world,” she said. This was a beautiful start.
Andrew Novak AND Ben griffin Each had knocked on the door of the first PGA Tour victories; On Sunday they were combined for one in two men Zurich Classic. “I think for both Andrew and I, it felt like it was just a matter of time here,” Griffin said after the round. “It means the world to finally finish it. I couldn’t think of a better guy to do it with him than here with Andrew.”
Joaquin Niemann won the Liv Golf event in Mexico City; Niemann’s VICTORY was his fifth in the liv, getting tied up Brooks koepka for the superiority of all time. Victory wins Niemann a Bed at US Open through the first official exception of Livi of Livi; It was also the first time his mother has seen her win as a professional.
“As a professional in my tour,” he said. “She hadn’t seen me win at PGA Tour and not here, so, yes, it’s very special.”
John Keefer It shot 30 in the first to win a shootout at the North Ferry Tour’s North Championship and continue its climb to the world rankings; He is now No. 92 despite just one start of PGA Tour.
Marco Money He won his first DP tournament title in the DP in 2025 Hainan Classic, scoring a ticket in the PGA Championship thanks to his three -shot victory. “Something’s something I have always dreamed of reaching – win the biggest scene,” he stated.
Not winning
But not losers, or.
Ariya Jutanugarn, Ronni Yin, Hyo Joo kim AND Lindy Duncan It ended T2 after losing to Sigo’s birds in the first play of Play off. They were mostly positive for their close loss, especially Duncan:
“That was the most vocal I have ever heard in a golf course. The cheers were extraordinary,” she told the bird’s putt she would keep in the 18th hole in the regulation. “To make such a stroke to enter the play off, I’ll remember forever.”
Højgaard twins, Rasmus AND NikolaiThe second ended in New Orleans just two weeks after they became the first twins to put it into the same masters – and gave it a dirt observation of a theoretical partnership Ryder Cup.
“It’s a long time after I really liked a week like this where I could have my brother as my partner and also pretend,” Nicolai said after the round. “That was again a lot of fun.”
And 17-year-old sensation Brown blades shot 27 under At the Korn Ferry tour to finish T2, setting up a matrix matrix of the decision, where he ended up searching for this week’s PGA Tour event to follow another Korn Ferry Tour instead, as he follows temporary membership in search of a full -time place to play. It is clear that he has the game he belongs to…
Short
5 intriguing updates from all over the world of golf.

A swinging thought
Standing positive.
Andrew Novak On his nearby absences and as he has not allowed them to subtract:
“I think I’ve done a pretty good job by not getting too frustrated with the narrow shaving,” he said. “I have tried to get as much positive as I can from anyone I can, because the idea is that I can put myself in that position whenever I am able. I want to get better whenever I’m in that position. I want to be more comfortable. I want to have things that can look back and improve. Yes, it’s disappointing, but it’s also nice to go to a tour.”

One thing to see
Caitlin Clark It perfectly summarized the enjoyment of the experience of the masters of the persons. I found that non-Telephone gets particularly significant coming from a 23-year-old-specifically one of the most photographed 23-year-olds in the world.
“I think no one has their phones, I think it was really cute. People would go out and be like,” Hey! “You really have to have a conversation with the people you like.”
Caitlin Clark says 7 months of rest was good for her – even checked the masters from the list of buckets. pic.twitter.com/favcpj6ngk
