Newcastle United has taken its first steps to get a summer play for Dango Ouattara de Bournemouth, with a potential transfer of 40 million euros to the works.
According to Africa Foot, Newcastle already makes moves between racks while preparing for the nearby transfer window.
The story suggests that the management of Magpies has come into initial contact with the representatives of Bournemouth and Ouattara to discuss a potential agreement. The two clubs have already started talks on a transfer of € 40 million, with the Magpies eager to add a versatile to their workforce.

Ouattara, which has been excellent for Bournemouth this season with nine goals and four assists, perfectly adapts to the bill for the needs of Newcastle. His performances have caught the attention of the Tyneside Club, which has made him a key goal for next season.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, will seek a premium share for the 23 -year -old, who joined the FC Lorient club for 22.5 million euros in January 2023. With his current contract until June 2028, the cherries are not under immediate pressure to sell.
It is left to see if Newcastle will be willing to pay almost twice as much as Bournemouth spent in Ouattara in 2023, but it is clear that the Magpies have announced their interest and opened conversations with their Premier League rivals.
