The two fight on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2 rematch at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs) is still scheduled to fight WBC interim 154-lb champion Vergil Ortiz Jr. to oppose on the 22nd February card. Beating what would be a grueling fight against Bohachuk will make it easier for Madrimov to fight Vergil. It would have been difficult for Madrimov to get through the Bohachuk match with a win and injury free to return 63 days later to face Ortiz Jr. Former WBA 154-lb champion Madrimov is coming off a narrow 12-round unanimous decision loss to Terence Crawford on August 3rd in Los Angeles.
