Luis Diaz is happy with life at Liverpool and has no desire to push on to move away from the club, a report has revealed.
Diaz is approaching the final two years of his contract at Anfield and reports have suggested that talks over an extension have proved problematic, particularly as Barcelona show a desire to reach a deal for the Colombia international.
Diaz was even recently claimed to have rejected Liverpool’s extension offer due to his desire to join. Barcelona but according to Florian Plettenbergit is not so.
Despite the intense competition for minutes a LiverpoolDiaz is enjoying life under Arne Slot and is not believed to have spoken to any other clubs about a possible move.
Liverpool are expected to continue talks over an extension and may have to hand Diaz a significant pay rise considering he remains on the same terms he agreed when he joined from Porto in the summer of 2022 .
Díaz has established himself as a key figure alongside Slot. Deployed out wide and as a centre-forward, he has already scored 11 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions, including a brace in the 6-3 thumping of Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
