Lucas Pouille The hopes of successful operation will save his career.

The 30-year-old Frenchman said the surgery to repair his tent to the Achilles’ right today was successful.

Formerly -Bota Nr. 10 Pouille suffered Achilles’ tears during the ATP Challenger final in Lille yesterday. Pouille’s qualifying track Arthur Bouquier 3-6, 5-3 when he was dropped to court, suffering a damage to Achilles.

Initially, he was afraid he could finish his career, but Pouille was more positive in both posts on social media before and after surgery.

“The results are what we thought … The full rupture of the Achilles tendon,” Pouille wrote on social media. “I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your messages. I will do everything to get back.”

“Thank you for all your messages,” posted Pouille on X after surgery today. “Surgery went very well.”

Pouille, who underwent an elbow surgery for a few years back, faces a long return route.

French coach and good friend Enzo relevant L’Equipe he is convinced that Pouille’s career is not over.
